Northern Pines Mental Health Center is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join their Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) team. The purpose of this role is to teach and support symptom management skills to adults with functional impairment due to a mental health condition, consistent with Minnesota's ARMHS guidelines and the center's philosophy. Services are provided through basic social and living skills training (individually or in small groups) and community intervention, with medication education referred to a designated provider. The position involves collaboration with other staff, initiating contact with relevant providers, documentation according to policy, and maintaining client charts. Responsibilities also include attending meetings, transporting clients for necessities if in their treatment plan, and assisting clients in developing coping skills for daily activities like banking and laundry, following the "do with, not for clients" approach. The role requires timely documentation and submission of job-related transportation expenses and receipts.
