About The Position

This position focuses on delivering therapeutic skills and training services to children and youth enrolled in a clinical day treatment program who have an identified mental health diagnosis. This position works at an Alluma office located in Crookston, MN. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and practitioners, learning and growing in your experience and career. As a behavioral health practitioner, Alluma offers clinical supervision to support your growth and ongoing success as a mental health provider. We provide board-certified supervisors for Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Counseling. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field or qualified experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental illness.
  • Licensure or license eligibility in the state of Minnesota (Alluma does require an LSW for bachelor’s degree in social work).
  • Experience or passion for working with children and families in a school-based or clinical setting.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group skill services to children, primarily ages 7-11 years old.
  • Engage with families to support treatment planning, communication, and coordination of care.
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and administration to support students’ overall development and progress toward goals.
  • Create and implement interventions focused on emotional regulation, behavioral dysregulation, social functioning difficulties, trauma related symptoms, and family/environmental stressors. This will be done fully with a team including the mental health therapist provider.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with organizational and licensing standards.
  • Transportation of children with an Alluma agency vehicle.
