About The Position
Knox Public Health is seeking a compassionate and driven Behavioral Health professional to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient counseling services, partnering with medical providers and community resources to enhance patient health and well-being. The position is open to individuals with existing Ohio licenses (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, LISW-S, LPCC-S) or those actively pursuing advanced licensure.

- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- LISW-S
- LPCC-S
- LSW/MSW working toward LISW
- LPC working toward LPCC
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Diagnosing and treating mental and emotional health conditions
- Providing individual counseling and psychotherapy
- Developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans
- Tracking client progress and adjusting care as needed
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Managing an assigned caseload
- Collaborating with medical providers and fellow behavioral health professionals
- Connecting patients with community resources and specialty services when appropriate
