About The Position
Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor for their Adult Mood Disorder department. This is a full-time, day shift position located in Hoffman Estates, IL. The role involves conducting patient assessments, establishing therapy treatment goals, administering individual and group therapy, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, and providing patients with information about community resources and therapeutic activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required
Nice To Haves
- LSW/LPC license preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
- Administer individual and group therapy.
- Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
