About The Position
This role is for a Behavioral Health Counselor in the Adult Psychiatry Float Pool at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health in Hoffman Estates, IL. The position is full-time, working a night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. The salary range is $27.69 - $40.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.
Responsibilities
- Administer group therapy.
- Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Provide the patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Work directly with the patient, family, physician, and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
