About The Position

The Behavioral Health Consultant works in an outpatient behavioral health role integrated within a primary care practice in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The consultant provides brief, evidence-based interventions to patients experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges, collaborates with primary care providers and clinical support staff to develop treatment plans, and delivers solution-focused care to improve patient health outcomes. Care is provided in person and through telehealth, with interventions typically spanning 2–5 visits and appointments lasting approximately 30 minutes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no call: four days per week from 8 AM to 5 PM and one day from 10 AM to 7 PM. The organization serves an underserved community. The position offers a $74,866 annual base salary, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and potential NHSC student loan repayment eligibility of up to $50,000, subject to program requirements.

Requirements

Hold an active Pennsylvania LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist license.
Be comfortable providing brief, evidence-based, solution-focused interventions.
Have strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills.
