About The Position

NORTHEAST DELTA HUMAN SERVICES AUTHORITY MISSION: Serve as a catalyst for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disorders to help them realize their full human potential by offering quality, excellent care with greater accessibility. Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking a Behavioral Health Center Manager--A to oversee the operations within a behavioral health clinic. The incumbent of this position provides both supervisory and clinical services. This role promotes, directs, and supervises the effective operation of a behavioral health clinic, assuring that it meets the needs of the consumers, their families, and the public by utilizing all available resources. The clinic manager is responsible for assuring the clinic's continued transition and adherence to the Integrated Care Model. Applicants with licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling; OR A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus two years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates work assignments, workflow, and duty activities of clinical staff who provide direct clinical services to consumers.
  • Assesses program needs in adult services and makes recommendations to the Integrated Behavioral Health Manager relative to this.
  • Plans and implements special programming related to clinical services and coordinates with other agencies as needed concerning services.
  • Plans, prioritizes, and manages clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases by completing initial biopsychosocial assessments, annual reassessments, and all assigned screening tools in accordance with NEDHSA policy.
  • Works as a part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment.
  • Initiates professional correspondence as needed, completes reports on time, and participates in behavioral health outreach initiatives as assigned.

  • NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.
  • 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000 for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians. (Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
