About The Position

Help autistic children find their voice. And discover your calling. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work 1-on-1 with kids diagnosed with autism helping them build life-changing skills like talking, playing, and making choices. No experience required! Just a big heart, patience, and love for kids. Is empathy your superpower? This might be the most important job you’ve never heard of. You’ll be their guide, their support, their safe place. Every small breakthrough, every smile, word, or moment of connection will remind you why your work is so important.

Requirements

  • A heart for helping kids
  • A calm, steady presence
  • Eagerness & energy to play
  • A willingness to learn something new
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A genuine passion for helping children and teens grow
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus!
  • Experience as a nanny, paraprofessional, teacher, CNA, personal attendant, daycare, childcare, babysitter, caregiver, or aide
  • Studied psychology, social work, or sociology

Responsibilities

  • Work & play 1-on-1 with kids on the autism spectrum
  • Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
  • Celebrate their wins! (big and small)
