About The Position

Surpass Behavioral Health is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children and teens with autism. Behavior Technicians are part of therapy teams and provide personalized, one-on-one therapy in clinical, school, or home settings under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans using ABA principles, supporting learners and caregivers, and recording session information and behavioral data. Paid training is provided to help employees earn RBT certification.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to earn RBT certification within 45 days; training is provided.
Have a love for working with children, strong communication skills, and a commitment to integrity.
Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Behavioral Health, Early Childhood Education, or a similar field.
Experience working with children with autism.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans using ABA principles.
Assist with challenging behaviors and provide a safe, supportive environment.
Work with the BCBA to keep caregivers updated on the child's progress.
Complete session notes and timesheets.
Collect and record data on socially significant behaviors.
Use fun and engaging instructional materials to motivate learners.
