About The Position

Surpass Behavioral Health is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children and teens with autism. Behavior Technicians are integral members of therapy teams and work with learners in clinical, school, or home settings. Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), they provide personalized, one-on-one therapy sessions to help children reach their full potential. Paid training is provided to support earning Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to earn RBT certification within 45 days; training is provided.
Love of working with children, strong communication skills, and commitment to integrity.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children with autism is helpful but not required.
A degree in behavioral health, early childhood education, or a similar field is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans using ABA principles.
Assist with challenging behaviors and provide a safe, supportive environment.
Work with the BCBA to keep caregivers updated on the child's progress.
Complete session notes and timesheets.
Collect and record data on socially significant behaviors.
Use fun and engaging instructional materials to motivate the learner.
