Entry Level Behavior Technician
About The Position
Join ACES as a Behavior Technician! $500 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible new hires who meet program qualifications. $1,000 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible candidates with an active or inactive Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Please note that candidates with an expired RBT certification do not qualify for the RBT sign-on bonus. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children, helping them build communication, social, and problem-solving skills using evidence-based ABA techniques. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A passion for supporting children and families impacted by autism
- Comfort using tablet-based technology
- Availability during times most needed by families
- Commitment to completing our paid virtual RBT training program
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is a plus, including backgrounds such as camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or childcare volunteer—but all applicants are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in our centers or in home-based settings
- Reinforce positive behaviors using techniques from our industry-leading training program
- Track client progress using a company-issued iPad and data systems
- Collaborate with families and supervisors to support each child’s growth
