As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, helping them build life skills such as talking, playing, and making choices. You’ll use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills, support each child, and celebrate their progress. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The position offers a path toward a career in behavioral healthcare and a nationally recognized RBT certification that comes with a pay raise. The role is based in the Sacramento and Elk Grove areas. The employer aims to match employees with clients near their homes and offers mileage reimbursement if the first client is more than 20 miles away. The schedule is Monday through Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., for 15–20 hours per week. Pay is $20–$23 per hour based on experience and education, with additional incentives for weekend shifts and company-observed holidays.
