As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, helping them develop skills such as communication, play, and making choices. You will use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach practical life skills, support children as they learn, and celebrate their progress. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role offers a nationally recognized RBT certification, which comes with a pay raise, and a potential career path in behavioral healthcare. The schedule is Monday through Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., for 15–20 hours per week. Weekend shifts are available with an additional $2 per hour, and company-observed holiday shifts pay an additional $5 per hour. The position serves the North County and South County areas listed in the posting, and requires willingness to travel within 20 miles. The company aims to match technicians with clients near their homes and offers mileage reimbursement if the first client is more than 20 miles away.
