Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism to help them develop life skills such as communicating, playing, and making choices. Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach practical skills, and celebrate children’s progress. The role offers training, a nationally recognized RBT Certification that comes with a pay raise, and a career path in behavioral healthcare. The employer aims to match technicians with clients near their homes and offers mileage reimbursement if the first client is more than 20 miles away. The position is hiring in Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Carpinteria. Pay is $21–$25 per hour based on experience and education. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., for 15–20 hours per week. Some weekday morning availability is needed for two to three weeks of training. Weekend shifts earn an additional $2 per hour, and company-observed holiday shifts earn an additional $5 per hour.
