About The Position

Autism Learning Partners is hiring a part-time Behavior Technician to support children and teens with autism. The role involves providing services primarily in clients’ homes, with some sessions in local centers depending on client needs. Sessions are scheduled according to client needs within the required availability window of Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for up to 20 hours per week. The Behavior Technician helps children develop skills through play and activities, encourages and celebrates their progress, records session activities and outcomes, and supports families as part of a team. Full paid training is provided, and the company will train the employee to become a certified Behavior Technician. Daily pay access is available. Compensation is $21.00–$28.00 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour for evenings and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and at least one semester of college coursework, or current enrollment in college courses.
At least six months of experience with children; paid or volunteer experience qualifies, and babysitting counts.
Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance.
Willingness to pass background and health checks.
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Patience, dependability, and ability to keep up with energetic children.
Availability Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Teach children skills such as communication, sharing, and following directions through games and other activities.
Encourage children and recognize their progress.
Actively engage with children through movement, play, and other session activities.
Record session activities and how the child performed.
Work as part of a team supporting families and children’s progress.
