About The Position

Precious Care ABA is hiring a Behavior Technician / RBT to work one-on-one with children with autism in their homes. The role focuses on helping children communicate, build independence, and develop skills. The technician implements treatment plans under BCBA supervision, teaches communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills, collects data, documents progress, and works closely with BCBAs and families. The role is based around clients in Paterson, with efforts to match technicians to clients near their homes. Flexible morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend opportunities are available, with this posting focused on PM/after-school availability. Requirements

• Previous ABA experience is required.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Available at least three days per week during PM/after-school hours.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Patient, energetic, and comfortable working hands-on with children.
• Able to follow treatment plans and BCBA direction.
• Open to feedback and willing to learn.
• Able to communicate, read, and write in English sufficiently to understand treatment plans and complete required documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to client homes.
• Professional, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with families and BCBAs.

Nice To Haves

• Existing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or status.
• Bilingual Spanish ability.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism.
