About The Position

Precious Care ABA is hiring a Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA services to children with autism in their homes in Paterson. The role supports children in developing communication, independence, social, behavioral, and daily living skills by implementing treatment plans under BCBA supervision. The technician collects data, documents progress, and collaborates with BCBAs and families. The position offers flexible scheduling, with this case requiring availability at least three days per week during PM/after-school hours. Clients are matched near the employee’s home when possible.

Requirements

• Previous ABA experience is required.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Available at least three days per week during PM/after-school hours.
• Reliable and consistent in attending scheduled sessions.
• Patient, energetic, and comfortable working hands-on with children.
• Able to follow treatment plans and BCBA direction.
• Open to feedback and willing to learn.
• Able to communicate, read, and write in English sufficiently to understand treatment plans and complete required documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to client homes.
• Professional, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with families and BCBAs.

Nice To Haves

• Existing RBT certification or experience as an RBT.
• Bilingual Spanish skills.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism in their homes.
