About The Position

Ability Beyond is hiring a Behavior Support Clinician II to provide advanced behavioral support to adults with intellectual, developmental, behavioral health, and mental health needs. The clinician develops individualized treatment strategies, supports therapeutic programming, and helps individuals build skills that promote independence and quality of life. The position is based in the Greater Danbury Area and is scheduled for 30 hours per week, with flexibility. Compensation is $25.96 per hour ($40,500 annually), with a $6,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral principles.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Master of Social Work (MSW) preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop individualized Behavior Support Plans using ABA principles and Positive Behavior Supports.
Monitor treatment integrity, analyze behavioral data, and adjust programming as needed.
Build therapeutic relationships and integrate behavioral strategies into everyday supports.
Coach, mentor, and train residential and program staff.
Partner with Residential Program Managers to support programming, crisis response, and overall program quality.
Participate in intake, transition, and discharge planning.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, outpatient providers, families, and community partners.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory reports.
