About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a substitute Group Leader to support its before- and after-school program in Oro Valley, Arizona. The role leads students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts. It prioritizes child safety, a clean and organized space, and an environment where children feel supported and included. The substitute builds relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff and may need to work a flexible schedule to meet staffing needs.

The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., though hours may vary. Weekends are not required. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain them.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be registered with, or become registered with, the Arizona childcare licensing agency and obtain full clearance.
• Must be flexible and reliable.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred.
