About The Position

Equum Medical is seeking a part-time Bedside Intensivist for an opportunity in Northern New Jersey. This role involves working in an open ICU at a 200-bed acute care hospital. The position requires a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) who is Critical Care Boarded. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and certified as a Primary Stroke Center by both The Joint Commission and the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services. The Intensivist will be responsible for daily multidisciplinary rounds and will work alongside Internal Medicine Residents who are staffed 24/7. The role requires performing procedures and managing an average of 8-10 patients per day in a 16-bed ICU. Ultrasound and Glidescope are available on-site.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Critical Care Boarded.
• Must be a US citizen or green card holder.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part-time bedside Intensivist in Northern New Jersey.
• Manage an average of 8-10 patients per day in a 16-bed ICU.
• Perform required procedures.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine Residents.
