About The Position

This seasonal Beauty Sales position is in the Women's and Men's Fragrances department at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Employees must be available to work from November 22 through December 24. The role focuses on creating personalized beauty experiences, engaging customers to understand their needs, and driving sales of on-trend and luxury beauty brands. Candidates should be passionate about beauty trends, makeup, and skincare, and able to build a customer following in-store and digitally. The position includes conducting makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products, supporting an inclusive and welcoming department, and using selling tools such as text and social media to meet sales goals. Employees also book appointments and promote Beauty events and services, maintain an organized and clean department, complete training on products and trends, and manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and Nordstrom Rewards account openings. The hourly pay range is $20.10–$20.90. Beauty and Men's Fragrance sales roles typically receive 3% commission. The position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
Availability from November 22 through December 24.
Ability to remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers' beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Stay informed about beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training from Nordstrom and brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
