About The Position

As a member of the Nordstrom Beauty community, the Beauty Sales employee creates personalized beauty experiences for customers and contributes to a passionate team. The role engages customers to understand their needs and maximize sales in luxury and on-trend beauty brands. It includes providing makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products, and building customer relationships both in-store and digitally. The employee stays informed about beauty trends and products through Nordstrom and brand-partner training, and helps maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and customer-ready department.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, using available selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Maintain department organization and cleanliness so it is customer-ready.
Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
