Full Time Beauty Assistant/Store Manager
About The Position
The Beauty Assistant/Store Manager represents the brand, develops and leads sales teams, and works to increase profits and customer and employee satisfaction. This is an entry-level management-track role with a comprehensive training program covering sales, customer service, leadership, and goal setting. Compensation is base pay plus commission and bonus opportunities; managers average $15–$19 per hour, with top performers earning more. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Ability to effectively influence others.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for more than seven hours per day.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, and orient store employees.
- Train, motivate, mentor, coach, counsel, and provide feedback to sales staff to help meet sales goals and performance criteria; discipline employees when needed.
- Schedule and assign employees, follow up on work results, and meet operational requirements.
- Monitor labor, cost of sales, and other controllable expenses to achieve financial objectives.
- Comply with legal requirements to maintain the store’s stability and reputation.
- Assign tasks and ensure stores are clean, stocked, organized, well-kept, and ready for customers.
- Build customer rapport, loyalty, and long-term relationships.
- Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits.
- Safeguard and account for money received and fulfill banking requirements.
