Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Recruit, select, and orient store employees.
Meet sales and performance goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Schedule and assign employees and follow up on work results to meet operational requirements.
Monitor controllable expenses, including labor and cost of sales, to achieve financial objectives.
Maintain the store’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Assign tasks and ensure the store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer-ready.
Build rapport with customers to develop loyalty and long-term relationships.
Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform other financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits.
Safeguard and account for money received and handle banking requirements.
