About The Position

Palm Beach Tan is seeking an outgoing, energetic, positive leader to represent the brand, develop sales teams, increase profits, and improve customer and employee satisfaction. The role is suited to someone motivated to set and achieve sales goals, comfortable with commission-based sales, and interested in building a career with the organization. Employees complete a comprehensive training program to prepare for a position on the management team. Compensation is $15–$19 per hour on average, with base pay, commission, and bonus opportunities; top performers may earn more. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
Ability to effectively influence others.
Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, for more than seven hours per day.
Able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
Reliable transportation.
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Recruit, select, and orient employees to maintain store staffing.
Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff to meet sales and performance goals, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Schedule and assign employees, follow up on work results, and meet operational requirements.
Monitor controllable expenses, including labor, cost of sales, and other expenses, to achieve financial objectives.
Maintain the store’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Assign tasks to ensure stores are clean, stocked, organized, well-kept, and ready for customers.
Build rapport, loyalty, and long-term relationships with customers.
Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
Investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits.
Safeguard and account for money received and meet banking requirements.
