Full Time Beauty Assistant/Store Manager
About The Position
Palm Beach Tan is seeking an outgoing, energetic, positive leader to represent the brand, develop sales teams, increase profits, and improve customer and employee satisfaction. The position includes a comprehensive training program to prepare the employee for the management team. Compensation includes base pay, commission, and bonus opportunities; managers average $15–$19 per hour, with top performers earning more. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Ability to effectively influence others.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, for 7 or more hours per day.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, and orient store employees.
- Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, to meet sales goals and performance criteria.
- Schedule and assign employees and follow up on work results to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor controllable expenses, including labor and cost of sales, to achieve financial objectives.
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Assign tasks to ensure stores are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer-ready.
- Build rapport, customer loyalty, and long-term customer relationships.
- Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze daily sales and expense information and conduct other financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits.
- Safeguard and account for money received and handle banking requirements.
