About The Position
The Beauty Assistant/Store Manager represents the brand, develops sales teams, and works to increase profits and customer and employee satisfaction. Individuals complete a comprehensive training program to prepare for a position on the management team. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Ability to effectively influence others.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods, for 7 or more hours per day.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, orient, and maintain store staff.
- Meet sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Schedule and assign employees and follow up on work results to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor controllable expenses, including labor, cost of sales, and other expenses, to achieve financial objectives.
- Maintain the store’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Assign tasks to ensure stores are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer-ready.
- Build rapport with customers to develop loyalty and long-term relationships.
- Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform other financial analysis to maximize sales and net profits.
- Safeguard and account for money received and handle banking requirements.
