About The Position
The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a freelance sales associate to provide makeup application, skincare advice, hair or fragrance consultations, or related services. The role combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to deliver a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store customer experience that educates and delights customers. The Beauty Advisor/Artist works as part of a high-performing team, helps create impact through in-store events, and maintains visual merchandising standards. The company welcomes applicants with beginner-level expertise and offers training and development opportunities, along with competitive remuneration. Work may include retail hours on days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Be able to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Have previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
Nice To Haves
- Retail experience is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise, including at an amateur level.
- Certification in makeup artistry and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable.
- Expertise in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation is highly valued.
