About The Position

Concordia of Monroeville is seeking an experienced, compassionate Beautician to provide residents with high-quality beauty and hair services. This is a contracted position scheduled for 2–3 days per week and is performed in person. The Beautician provides cosmetology services professionally, follows applicable sanitation and infection-control requirements, records services and charges, schedules appointments, and helps maintain a clean salon. The role also requires compliance with ethical standards, laws, regulations, and Concordia policies, along with protection of confidential information and reporting of compliance concerns.

Requirements

Valid Pennsylvania cosmetology license.
Two years of salon experience.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Knowledge of Pennsylvania cosmetology rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide cosmetology services, including shampooing, setting, cutting, manicures, tints, coloring, and other special services, in a professional manner.
Follow sanitation and infection-control regulations.
Log services and charges promptly and accurately.
Schedule appointments according to the time needed for each service.
Help keep the salon clean and review the duties list to ensure tasks are not missed or duplicated.
Claim tips as part of income.
Follow the Code of Conduct, state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and Concordia policies and procedures.
Maintain the confidentiality of resident and employee records and information.
Report compliance concerns, significant legal-risk questions, fraud, abuse, and suspected or actual misconduct to a supervisor or manager, or to the Corporate Compliance Officer.
