About The Position

Aviata Health Group is seeking a resident- and family-focused Beautician to perform routine beauty and barber services for residents at its Palma Sola Bay community in Bradenton, Florida. The role includes scheduling hair care, helping residents get to and from the beauty shop, providing manicures, maintaining service and charge records, and ordering and stocking routine beauty supplies.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of cosmetology.
• Hold a current cosmetology or barber license.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, coordinating, and organizational skills.
• Be able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
• Demonstrate patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents and staff.
• Be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Schedule residents for hair care as requested by the resident or responsible party, and provide the schedule to nursing staff.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from the beauty shop as needed.
• Perform manicures.
• Maintain and submit records of services provided, including charges incurred.
• Order and stock routine beauty supplies.
