About The Position

Hero Beach Club is seeking a Beach Attendant to oversee the safety and enjoyment of guests at its beach and pool facilities. This role involves monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be comfortable working outdoors, and possess a guest-first attitude.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification required
• Knowledge of beach/pool safety rules and regulations
• Must be able to swim and be comfortable in open water
• Must be able to perform all physical duties of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a lifeguard or pool attendant preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee guest safety and enjoyment at the beach and pool
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and answer guest questions
• Maintain a clean and tidy beach/pool area, including proper trash disposal
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Enforce beach/pool rules and regulations
• Complete daily paperwork and maintain accurate activity records
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including pool cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment upkeep
