About The Position

Chevrolet of Troy is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our team. This role involves making outbound calls to customers to schedule and confirm service appointments, answering inbound calls, and following up with customers regarding maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate enjoys talking with people, is comfortable making outbound calls, can handle multiple customer needs, and is motivated by setting appointments and helping customers maintain their vehicles.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, and scheduling software.

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive, dealership, call center, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to customers to schedule and confirm service appointments.
Answer inbound customer calls and assist with scheduling service appointments.
Follow up with customers regarding recommended and due maintenance.
Contact customers with open service opportunities and encourage them to return for needed repairs or maintenance.
Accurately schedule appointments according to customer needs and service department availability.
Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience on every call.
Maintain accurate customer information and call notes in the dealership CRM.
Follow up on missed appointments, declined services, and other customer opportunities.
Work closely with Service Advisors and the Service Department to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Meet daily and monthly appointment-setting and performance goals.
