About The Position

Butler Machinery is seeking a BCP Growth Manager to help accelerate growth across our Building Construction Products portfolio (Small and Compact Products). This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on market share expansion, revenue growth, and customer penetration across our territory. This role succeeds through influence, insight, and execution—partnering closely with Store Managers, sales teams, Marketing, and inventory partners to turn opportunity into results. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, sales, product management, or market development
  • Demonstrated experience driving measurable growth
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirements

  • Experience within a Caterpillar dealership or heavy equipment distribution environment
  • Background in product strategy, market development, or commercial growth initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the growth strategy for Caterpillar Building Construction Products, including compact and small equipment and work tools.
  • Translate customer, application, and competitive insights into clear growth priorities.
  • Lead new product launches, driving adoption and differentiation in the market.
  • Enable sales teams with value propositions, competitive insights, and application-based selling tools.
  • Partner with Marketing to deliver campaigns and go-to-market strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on run rate, pipeline health, and opportunity flow, helping stores maintain strong sales momentum.
  • Analyze sales funnels, trends, and win/loss data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support financial and performance planning, focusing on profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Develop and execute work tool and attachment growth strategies, positioning complete solutions that drive incremental value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, service, rental, and parts teams to maximize equipment lifecycle value.
