Battery Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer

About The Position
We are looking for an engineer to develop novel machine learning algorithms, control strategies, and on-device implementations to improve the utility and intelligence of battery systems.
Requirements
- Experience in machine learning, including RNNs, LSTMs, and Transformers.
- Experience in control theory and optimization, including MPC, Kalman filters, and convex/nonconvex optimization.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
Nice To Haves
- PhD and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Mathematical modeling experience for nonlinear dynamical systems.
- Experience in C/C++ for embedded systems and Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience with physics-informed neural networks or hybrid physics/ML approaches.
- Experience with MPC implementation and real-time optimization.
