About The Position

INX International is seeking a Batch Weigher/Mixer to manufacture high-quality printing ink. The company will train the successful candidate to operate a mill machine and perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. The role includes weighing and mixing batches, operating and maintaining production equipment, supporting quality control, and completing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. The position is for the second shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED desired.
At least 3 months of work-related experience.
Good math and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Reliability in working the assigned shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Ability to perform an active role on multidisciplinary teams.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience; training is available.
Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background.
Previous experience in the ink industry.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
Learn and apply TPM knowledge in daily activities.
Weigh batches by following the process order of addition and shift auto and manual steps.
Mix batches by discharging pigment and safely operating the mixer in accordance with INX Mixer SOPs.
Operate the Hockmeyer mill and maintain optimum overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) standards.
Create and maintain a database of existing formulas, including processing times.
Can product.
Operate the press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
Act as a QC liaison by providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist with repacks.
