About The Position
This role is responsible for operating and maintaining the baste machines in the Whole Bird Packing Department. The operator will ensure the correct mixture and application of baste solutions, maintain equipment, and support daily production needs. This position requires attention to detail, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to work independently in a production environment.

- Able to read and write English fluently
- Able to read and understand ingredients
- Basic math skills
- Able to read numbers

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in production or machine operation preferred
Responsibilities
- Mix baste solutions for the Packing Department
- Verify solution percentages
- Check baste needles
- Ensure proper machine pressure and correct percentage of baste
- Adjust the baste machine as needed
- Maintain paperwork and documentation
- Complete all required cutboards
- Support daily production flow and production needs
