Basketball Coach (After School) – Clark County
About The Position
BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Basketball Coaches to lead elementary-aged students in fun, structured basketball programs in the Clark County area, with an immediate need for coaches located near Mabel Hoggard Elementary School. This is an excellent opportunity for college students interested in education, coaching, youth development, kinesiology, exercise science, recreation, or sports management. If you enjoy working with children and creating a positive, active learning environment, we'd love to hear from you. We are currently hiring coaches for Basketball programs.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5
- Reliable transportation to schools throughout Clark County, preferably near Mabel Hoggard Elementary School
- Dependable and punctual
- Must successfully complete the required school district background check and fingerprinting process
Nice To Haves
- Experience playing or coaching Basketball is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Coach elementary students in Basketball activities
- Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans
- Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
- Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students
- Teach fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
