About The Position

The BAS Service Technician performs preventative maintenance, startup and commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement work for building automation systems. The role also provides remote customer support, manages estimated preventative-maintenance hours for assigned contracts, logs maintenance tasks in building automation systems, and completes service ticket reports for preventative-maintenance accounts and projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in building automation and mechanical-controls industry service experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• MET Technical Degree, MES Journeyman, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in building automation and mechanical-controls industry service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled controls preventative maintenance for various building automation systems.
• Perform technical startup, checkout, and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace building automation systems in response to service calls.
• Provide remote support for building automation customers.
• Manage estimated preventative-maintenance hours on assigned contracts.
• Log maintenance tasks via building automation systems.
• Complete service ticket reports for all preventative-maintenance accounts and projects.
