About The Position
The BAS Service Technician performs preventive maintenance, startup, checkout, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement work for building automation systems. The role also provides remote customer support and manages estimated preventive maintenance hours for assigned contracts. Tridium is identified in the role title.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience in building automation and mechanical controls industry service is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- MET Technical Degree, MES Journeyman credential, or equivalent.
- Mechanical service experience.
- Service estimation experience.
- Working knowledge of Automated Logic, Tridium, Honeywell, Trane, JCI, and other control systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled controls preventative maintenance for various building automation systems.
- Perform technical startup, checkout, and commissioning of building automation systems.
- Troubleshoot service calls and repair or replace building automation systems.
- Provide remote support for building automation customers.
- Manage estimated preventative maintenance hours on assigned contracts.
