BAS - Controls Project Manager
About The Position
The BAS Controls Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects within the controls energy sector. This role involves overseeing jobs in the field, organizing schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and working closely with coordinators. The position requires ensuring the correct equipment is purchased and delivered on time, and consistently being in the field to ensure projects run smoothly. The company, founded over 15 years ago, serves clients in Pharmaceutical/Biotech, Commercial, Temperature and Humidity monitoring, Energy Solutions, Office Space, and Processing plants, with a mix of new construction and retrofit work.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Project Manager in controls
- Well versed in financial forecasting, project budgeting, and setting deadlines within project scopes
- Monitoring and managing multiple projects at a time
- Responsible for managing jobs in the field, organizing schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and working close with coordinators
- Create guidelines as well as direct and organize the field labor force
- Ensure that the correct equipment is purchased and delivered on time for specific jobs
- Consistently in the field ensuring that projects are running smoothly
- Manage and create change orders efficiently
- Create and write up RFI’s
