About The Position

The BAS Controls Project Manager will be responsible for the completion and execution of Building Automation Systems (BAS) projects. This role requires a fundamental understanding of creating, designing, and managing BAS systems and architecture, as well as monitoring and managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing jobs in the field, organizing schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and working closely with coordinators. They will also create guidelines, direct and organize the field labor force, and ensure the correct equipment is purchased and delivered on time. Collaboration with management for pre-book reviews and documentation is essential, along with reviewing contract documents for scope requirements. The role involves consistently being in the field to ensure projects run smoothly, managing and creating change orders efficiently, and creating RFIs and close-out documentation.

Requirements

Prior experience as a BAS Project Manager or similar position
Well versed in financial forecasting, project budgeting, and setting deadlines within project scopes

Responsibilities

Responsible for the completion and execution of the Building Automation Projects.
Fundamental understanding of creating, designing, and managing BAS systems and architecture
Monitoring and managing multiple projects at a single time
Responsible for managing jobs in the field, organizing schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and working close with coordinators
Create guidelines as well as direct and organize the field labor force
Ensure that the correct equipment is purchased and delivered on time for specific jobs
Work alongside management to ensure pre-book reviews and documentations are executed correctly.
Review contract documentations for scope requirements.
Consistently in the field ensuring that projects are running smoothly
Manage and create change orders efficiently
Create RFI’s and any close out documentation.
