About The Position

The BAS Controls Programmer will be responsible for programming custom applications from scratch or using pre-packaged libraries, communicating effectively with field technicians and PMs, creating controls databases, and troubleshooting system issues. This role requires acute knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within controls, as well as familiarity with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet. The company is a large HVAC & Controls company founded over 60 years ago with over 3,000 employees nationwide, serving clients in Education, K-12, High rise commercial, Healthcare, Higher Education, labs, and critical environments. They handle Service Projects, Retrofits, and new construction.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Controls Specialist/Programmer or similar position
• Familiar with BAS communication protocols, specifically BACnet
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of graphical programs such as Tridium front ends
• Acute knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within controls

Responsibilities
