About The Position

To prepare and serve alcohol to guests that is consistent with the standards of the Beverage Department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • One (1) year guest service.
  • Six (6) months bartending experience or completion of accredited bartending school.
  • Or three (3) month internal fast track program completed.
  • Above average knowledge of Spirits, Wine, and Beer.
  • Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
  • Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
  • The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I).
  • DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate beverages according to established recipes; Serve guests in compliance with MAST and guest service standards; Rings up each transaction on the cash register and adhere to accurate cash handling policies.
  • Maintain necessary pars and monitor quality of product and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Initiate and establish superior guest service including recommendation of drink selection and informing of specials and product knowledge.
  • Utilize and implement MAST training to prevent and recognize potential alcohol related concerns and over service.
  • Set up and close workstations in compliance with established procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
