Requirements

  • Must be able to work on feet, moving about at a quick pace for several hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds, to include furniture, glasses, dishes, ice, beer, wine, liquor – individually, on racks, and/or trays, or by cases.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property.
  • Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.
  • Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.
  • Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure members have a very enjoyable experience by having a positive attitude, knowing the product, delivering top quality service, knowing and using the members’ name, exceeding expectations, and being a team player.
  • Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
  • Make all drinks according to standardized recipes.
  • Keep bar clean and free from clutter.
  • Cut fruit and make mixes.
  • Label, store, and rotate all mixes and fruit, following health safety standards.
  • Keep all proper glassware stocked, clean, sanitized and free of spots.
  • Receive and stock liquor for bar pars.
  • Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials and miscellaneous information.
  • Greet members and their guest immediately and with a smile.
  • Guide members and their guests through the course of their experience, communicating frequently with them.
  • Learn and properly use the POS system.
  • Ring member checks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and sanitary bar.
  • Perform daily cleaning duties in the bar as assigned on checklist.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of liquor cost, assist in achieving budgeted liquor cost.
  • Assist all servers whenever possible, helping with the overall positive member dining experience.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or Club Supervisors.
