About The Position

The Bartender at The Thirsty Dragon at Dellshire Resort delivers beverage service in the resort’s lobby bar. The role combines preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with engaging guest interaction to create a welcoming social atmosphere for resort guests and visitors. The ideal candidate has beverage knowledge, enjoys hospitality, and thrives in a dynamic setting. Dellshire is a medieval-inspired destination resort in Wisconsin Dells, described as a pre-opening property set to open in spring 2026.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience is required.
Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage presentation.
Meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service under state law.
Obtain Responsible Beverage Service certification within 30 days of employment if not already certified.
Strong guest engagement, sales, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and positive team attitude.

Nice To Haves

Hotel or upscale bar experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards.
Provide engaging, attentive, and personalized service to bar guests and lobby patrons.
Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar, glassware, and service areas.
Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with laws and company policies.
Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with bar setup and breakdown.
Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure seamless service flow.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including card handling and inventory counts.
Uphold Dellshire Resort service standards and brand culture.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
