BARTENDER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
The Bartender prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The role involves setting up and stocking the bar, maintaining beverage ingredients and garnishes, taking and preparing drink orders according to standard recipes, processing payments, and keeping the bar clean, organized, and attractive. The Bartender follows applicable liquor laws and company policies, checks identification, and responds appropriately to guest inebriation. This is a full-time position at Delta, 5300 S Howell Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The schedule and hours vary, and weekend and holiday availability is required. The fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

- Bartending experience required.
- Customer service experience required.
- Catering experience required.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations concerning service to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Set up assigned bars and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
- Maintain stock and prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Take or process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and prudent portion control.
- Check bar guests for proper identification.
- Recognize and respond to guest inebriation as trained, and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receive cash, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed.
- Lock up and store beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops; secure the bank.
- Perform general cleaning tasks in accordance with health and safety standards and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
- Wash and sterilize stemware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
