About The Position

A Bartender is responsible for ensuring that each guest receives legendary food, drink and legendary service during their dining experience. This role involves effectively using the POS system, following all steps of service, and suggesting specific food and beverage items through salesmanship. The Bartender must adhere to core values, understand and utilize the first-time guest program, and practice safety and sanitation at all times. Responsibilities also include completing opening and closing duties, handling all monetary transactions accurately, maintaining proper etiquette, exhibiting teamwork, and having the ability to have fun at work while maintaining proper uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

Uses the POS (point of sale) system effectively and correctly.
Follows all steps of service throughout the dining experience.
Suggests specific food and beverage items through use of salesmanship.

Understands and effectively utilizes first time guest program.
The ability to carry and tray.
Practices safety and sanitation at all times.
Completes proper opening and closing duties as per unit.
Handles all cash, credit, and gift cards received during the shift and properly accounts for all monies at the end of the each shift.
Maintains proper etiquette with all staff members and guests.
Exhibits teamwork at all times.
Participates in contests and line dancing during each shift.
Has the ability to have fun at work.
Maintains proper uniform and hygiene standards at all times.
