About The Position

The Bartender position is responsible for providing an excellent dining experience for our Guests through proper steps of service, maintaining a great work environment for our Hosts and Guests. The Bartender will also all prepare all specialty drinks which are offered. This to be done in a manner consistent with The Dollywood Company’s Mission and Values.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Requires thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field
• High School Diploma, Required
• One-year Bartender experience, Required
• Must be able to obtain Serve Safe/Alcohol Server Certification
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy.
• Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred

Responsibilities

• Checks with Manager for daily forecast training standard objectives
• Ascertains the daily specials from kitchen and communicates them
• Answers phone and record take-out food/drink orders
• Inspects Bar for cleanliness, proper supply levels
• Makes specialty drinks to standard including ingredients and presentation
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes
• Performs service, busser and runner duties as appropriate
• Must be willing to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by management
• Uses POS accurately. Handles cash and card transactions as directed
• Participates in upsell strategies as directed by management
• Participates in daily line ups
• Practices service standards and current training throughout service
