About The Position

The Bartender provides efficient, friendly customer service and maintains a clean, professional appearance. The role ensures guests are satisfied promptly and in a timely manner, while delivering responsible alcohol service and supporting the bar's operations.

Requirements

At least 1 year of bartending experience.
Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
Unexpired Food Handler and TABC credentials, or ability to obtain them upon hire.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work outdoors.

Nice To Haves

Bartending experience in a high-volume, casual environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and respond to inquiries or requests.
Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar area.
Provide silverware and condiments before food is presented at the bar.
Clean and reset the bar area as guests depart or drink preparation is completed.
Set up and break down the bar properly, including following triple sink procedures.
Communicate professionally with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff.
Contribute to a professional workplace that maximizes employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness.
Work effectively with diverse Front of House and Back of House staff.
Ensure responsible alcohol service by following legal requirements, including guest identification checks and monitoring consumption.
Accurately take food and beverage orders and promptly record transactions in the Micros system.
Maintain guest tabs and process payments promptly.
Monitor inventory pars.
Sell and upsell products.
