About The Position

The bartender provides efficient, friendly customer service while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. The role ensures guests are satisfied promptly and in a timely manner. The bartender works in a fast-paced team environment, supports a professional and productive workplace, and serves guests both at the bar and outdoors.

Requirements

At least 1 year of bartending experience.
Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
Unexpired Food Handler and TABC credentials, or ability to obtain them upon hire.
Professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work outdoors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Nice To Haves

Bartending experience in a high-volume, casual environment.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and respond to inquiries and requests.
Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar area.
Provide silverware and condiments before food is presented at the bar.
Clean and reset the bar area as guests depart or drink preparation is completed.
Set up and break down the bar properly, including following triple-sink procedures.
Communicate professionally with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff.
Contribute to a professional workplace that maximizes employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness, and work well with diverse Front of House and Back of House staff.
Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements, including carding guests and monitoring consumption.
Accurately take food and beverage orders and promptly record transactions in the Micros system.
Maintain guest tabs and process payments promptly.
Monitor product pars and sell and upsell products.
